This steam corridor, a combined buried and above-ground pipeline, provides quantifiable benefits to local businesses and provides a Canadian Energy-from-Waste solution that, to date has only been implemented on a wide scale in Europe.

Design/Build Award for Excellence by the Canadian Design/Build by the Canadian Design/Build Institute for ground-breaking design and construction of the Hamilton Centralized Compost Facility. 80,000 tonnes of Source Separated Organic waste is composted at this facility annually, dramatically reducing landfill requirements and producing marketable soil.

Environmental Achievement Award from the Canadian Construction Association for the Hamilton Centralized Compost Facility for the design, construction and operation of this facility. Advanced and proven technology was imported from Europe and successfully applied in this project.

Environmental Achievement Award from the Canadian Construction Association for outstanding design/build/operate of the Jasper Wastewater Treatment Plant This project involved innovative solutions for sewage treatment in a very sensitive eco-culture with award winning results.

Schreyer Award for the engineering design of the Pangnirtung Reservoir on Baffin Island.
