Maple Reinders recognizes that people are our most important asset. We have developed core construction and safety programs that form the foundation of our Centre for Learning.
Training starts from the first day of employment and continues from there. All employees are encouraged to complete a base level of training hours per year through both the Maple Reinders Centre for Learning and external training programs.
Employees are encouraged to obtain professional certification and licensing. Full time permanent employees are reimbursed the costs of applying and obtaining certification. Four of our one-day workshops / courses which we’ve developed through our Centre for Learning carry 1 x Gold Seal Special Industry Course (SIC) Points. These courses are:
1. Communication & Interpersonal Skills ( 1 SIC)
2. Management Skills for New Managers
and Supervisors ( 1 SIC)
3. Conflict Resolution ( 1 SIC)
4. Performance Coaching (1 SIC)
Employees are encouraged to participate in professional and technical associations. As well, Maple Reinders encourages and supports sites in personal apprenticeship programs.
