Maple Reinders was awarded a Design-Build contract to renovate and retrofit an existing 175,000 SF warehouse to accommodate Alstom Transportation Canada Inc.
The renovation included a new office area and fitting up the warehouse to facilitate the manufacturing of new streetcar trains. A 16,000 SF slab was removed to accommodate 7 new rail lines, 7 service pits and 2 turntables within the building. One of the track lines was fitted with a trench drain and water recirculation system to serve Alstom’s train water test requirement.
The exterior work included asphalt removals, grading, new asphalt and a retaining wall to accommodate an integrated network of exterior rails completed with 6 manually operated switches. A small loading dock addition was also constructed to serve the increased shipping and receiving requirements.

Maple Reinders was selected by Panattoni to design and build a 754,690 SF office/distribution centre for Whirlpool Canada. The facility incorporates a 746,840 SF warehouse/production area, a 1,450 SF shipping office and a 6,400 SF main office.
Maple Reinders was the Construction Managers for the Parkwood Place Apartments consisting of three four-storey buildings each with one level of underground parking.

Maple Reinders undertook the Phase 2 and 3 extensions to their existing facility in Calgary. Which included construction of the 134,000 SF freezer/cold storage warehouse utilized reinforced concrete strip footings and pads, structural steel, insulated metal panels, SBS roofing.

Maple Reinders was awarded the Design-Build contract for Bluebird's five-storey self-storage facility located in Mississauga, ON. The new facility includes approximately 140,000 SF of space comprised of storage units and a small office and retail area.
