The Trent-Severn Waterway National Historic Site is a major network of locks, bridges and dams that traverses 386km through central Ontario. Water levels and flows throughout the watershed are managed by approximately 160 operable dams and water control structures, many of which are nearing the end of their lifecycle.
Maple Reinders was awarded the contract to design, build, finance, operate and maintain the Capital Regional District (CRD) Residuals Treatment Facility located at the Hartland Landfill as part of the Hartland Resource Management Group (HRMG), a special purpose company of which Maple Reinders PPP Ltd. is a partner. The project will be delivered under a DBFOM model, with a 20-year operate and maintain period.
Maple Reinders is presently constructing GFS East Toronto Distribution Centre, a greenfield food distribution center approximately 343,413 SF in size with the option to expand/enlarge facility by 100,000 SF in future.
Maple Reinders, as part of the Harbour City Solutions consortium, was selected to build the Hamilton Biosolids Management project. The project is being delivered through a PPP using the design-build-finance-operate-maintain model, with a 30-year contract operations term.
Chartwell Retirement Residences operates over 175 senior living facilities across four provinces in Canada. Maple Reinders was awarded the Construction Management contract for Chartwell’s new corporate headquarters. The facility is constructed on a five-acre greenfield site with Maple Reinders responsible for both the base building and the interior fit-out work.
Maple Reinders was awarded the Design-Build contract for Bluebird’s new six-storey self-storage facility located in Toronto, ON. The new facility includes approximately 168,000 SF of floor area which comprises mainly storage lockers and a small retail office area.
Canadian owned and operated, Schlegel Villages is owner and operator of 15 high quality long-term care and retirement Villages across Ontario. Maple Reinders has been retained to act as the Construction Manager for the third and final phase of development at the site.
