Ceva Animal Health is a global veterinary health company specialized in pharmaceutical products and vaccines for companion animals, and livestock. Ceva Animal Health opened operations in Canada in 2011.
For Ceva Animal Health to meet the demands of a rapidly growing global market, they required a new facility which can produce in compliance with various international regulations for their existing and future clients.
Ceva Animal Health selected Maple Reinders to construct their new 85,000 sf Coccidiosis Vaccine Production Facility, located in Township of Guelph-Eramosa. Maple Reinders was contracted to complete the construction of the structure, laboratories, animal housing areas, as well as the installation of all CIP, water treatment, clean utilities, and equipment installation packages.
Facility construction falls under strict containment of office personnel, research laboratories, animal welfare, and vaccine production areas. Within the structure, animals are housed for bioreaction and subsequent antigen and vaccine production. The facility’s construction and operations comply with all CFIA, Health Canada, GMP, and EU GMP regulatory requirements.
Maple Reinders undertook the Construction Management for this 18,000 s.f. four-storey commercial office building in Vancouver, B.C. On a constrained site in the downtown core.
The 170,000 sf wood framed Dairy Research Centre, which is a joint venture between the Agricultural Research Institute of Ontario (ARIO), the University of Guelph, and the Ontario dairy industry is located just south of Elora, in Ponsonby, Ontario.
