Hyundai Mobis Parts Distribution Centre – Markham

Mobis Parts Canada Corporation is a subsidiary of Hyundai and supplies parts for all of Hyundai and Kia model cars made for the North American market. As part of their growing needs within North America, Hyundai required a substantially larger facility to support their parts distribution network to the dealers across Canada and the United States.

Maple Reinders was engaged to design and build the new 548,785 SF parts distribution centre, including a 19,824 SF two-storey office to be home to Mobis’ corporate head office. The remaining program included a two-storey bin module for parts, rack storage and bulk pallet storage, a product development shop and a shipping and receiving office. The building façade is clad with a combination of curtainwall at the office location and precast panels with punch windows around the warehouse area.
