Self-Storage
Maple Reinders took on the Design-Build contract for a new Public Storage facility in Oakville, Ontario. The facility is comprised of four individual buildings which together consist of 86,000 net rentable SF of space, divided amongst 770 self-storage units.
Maple Reinders was awarded the Design-Build contract which included the conversion of a single-storey warehouse and office building, into a two-storey self-storage facility totaling 129,625 square feet.
This model contractually shares the project vision, as well as its risks and rewards, between the owner and contractor. This aligns interests, processes and objectives between multiple disciplines so they can act as a single firm.
