Elgin Lodge – Port Elgin

Elgin Lodge is an assisted care residence for Seniors, located in Port Elgin, Ontario.

Maple Reinders was awarded the contract to provide construction services for two separate additions to the home, as well as interior alterations.

The additions consist of a single-storey extension of one wing, and a two-storey link between existing wings of the facility. In all, 66 living units were added to the building. The lower level of the two-storey link includes a new chapel, billiards room and laundry area, as well as a therapeutic pool, exercise room and massage therapy office.

Maple Reinders’ contract also included the construction of a new kitchen, renovations to the existing salon, and extensive landscaping, including courtyards, patios and a gazebo.
