After performing due diligence services for the client, Maple Reinders was retained under a Construction Management contract to build the first phase of the new Harvest Bible Chapel structure. The initial two-storey facility includes administration space, classrooms, youth area, kitchen, fire-side lounge, café, fitness area, changerooms, washrooms and a double gymnasium. Due to the size of the congregation, complex audio, video, acoustic and lighting systems have also been incorporated into the facility.
The 95,000 SF facility was part of Phase 1, with Phase 2 expanding the facility to 150,000 SF. Maple Reinders was also awarded the work for Phase 2, including a new theatre-style auditorium, additional classrooms, counselling/compassion ministry area, prayer rooms, chapel, training rooms, bookstore, library and a spacious entry lobby.
