Landscape Ontario Office and Warehouse Facility – Milton

With more than 2,000 professional members, Landscape Ontario is the Province’s premier horticultural trades association. They are an industry leader in representing, promoting and fostering a favourable climate for the advancement of the horticulture industry in Ontario.

Maple Reinders was awarded the Construction Management contract to complete extensive renovations to their existing office and warehouse facility in Milton, Ontario.

The project consisted of renovations that started with a complete demolition of the existing facility down to its structural steel frame and concrete slabs. The exterior façade was replaced with a mixture of insulated metal panels and metal siding. On top of that, a new dry stack stone wall was installed with a vibrant green spandrel panel assembly complete with the company name facing Highway 401.

The existing warehouse space was remodeled to include four new classrooms for teaching and seminars, three new tenant office spaces and a lunchroom/function space with a skylight above. The interior building space was completely renovated with a new office layout including mechanical and electrical re-design, and a feature staircase constructed with walnut panels.

A mixture of wall coverings and walnut millwork panels was used throughout the building to create a very pleasant “earthy” vibe which is showcased at the entrance by a striking green wall filled with living plants. A complete re-roof was also included as part of the project with the existing roof being removed and replaced with a new TPO system.

The client was very pleased with our work and reemphasized at the end of the project that choosing Maple Reinders was the right decision.
