S&R Trucking is one of Ontario’s leading transportation carriers; with services that include domestic rail and international harbour drayage, regional truckload and dedicated distribution.
Maple Reinders was hired to provide Design-Build services for a new warehousing and truck/container marshalling yard. The new facility is a 20,000 SF stand-alone building on 4.7 acres in Bolton Ontario. The facility is encompasses two individual demised spaces of 10,000 SF each.
The building is constructed of structural steel framing, metal roof deck, concrete reinforced concrete slab with exterior walls comprised of pre-finished metal siding and a precast/flexwall front elevation. The building roof is a 45mil EPDM membrane complete with stone ballast. The entrance includes a canopy clad in architectural aluminum composite panels complete with aluminum doors. The glazing includes insulated, double glazed units with grey tint. Included in the design was the mechanical, electrical, sprinkler system, landscaping, fencing and curb/paving work, as well as tenant finishes for both new office spaces.

The project awarded to Maple Reinders was part of a phased program to address operational improvements at both car houses. The work at Russell Carhouse consisted of a new wash-down pit to replace the existing hand-scrape and air-blast undercar cleaning system with a high-pressure water system.
The Town of Oakville contracted with Maple Reinders to construct a new Public Works/Parks Operations facility on a new site. The new building consolidated several operations into one central location that is operated more efficiently.

Maple Reinders undertook the Phase 2 and 3 extensions to their existing facility in Calgary. Which included construction of the 134,000 SF freezer/cold storage warehouse utilized reinforced concrete strip footings and pads, structural steel, insulated metal panels, SBS roofing.

Maple Reinders was awarded the Design-Build contract for Bluebird's five-storey self-storage facility located in Mississauga, ON. The new facility includes approximately 140,000 SF of space comprised of storage units and a small office and retail area.
