Asea Brown Boveri Manufacturing Facility – Brampton

Maple Reinders was selected by Asea Brown Boveri (ABB) to provide a complete building program for their new North American manufacturing facilities. Our role included all aspects of project development including site search and selection, land acquisition, land re-zoning, site plan agreement, design services, lease-back arrangements, and construction of the new facility.

The facility is 300,000 SF, including 71,000 SF of office space. The plant includes an anti-static floor to accommodate the sensitive electronic equipment. The office component includes an executive row, offices, boardroom, meeting rooms and a tiered cafetorium that also serves as a training theatre.

A large stormwater management pond is situated at the front of the building and incorporates walking trails for the enjoyment of the employees.
