XYZ Self Storage – Toronto

XYZ Storage engaged Maple Reinders to provide pre-construction and construction services for a new six-storey self-storage facility at Dundas Street West and Jane Street in Toronto, Ontario. The project supported the company’s transition from All-Canadian Self Storage to the newly established XYZ Storage brand.

The 147,585 square foot facility includes more than 1,400 indoor storage units in a range of sizes. Parking, loading areas and retail space are located at ground level, while the vertical design makes efficient use of the constrained urban site.

The building was designed to create a strong street presence while reflecting the character and industrial history of the surrounding neighbourhood. Extensive glazing and a mix of industrial materials and finishes give the facility a modern appearance while connecting it to the area’s past.

Through careful planning and phased construction, Maple helped transform a constrained site into a high-density vertical storage facility. The project demonstrates an efficient approach to urban development while providing XYZ Storage with a modern facility that reflects its evolving brand and customer-focused approach.
