Hagersville Water Pollution Control Plant Upgrade

Maple Reinders capitalized on the strengths of both its Buildings and Civil divisions to complete upgrades to the Hagersville Water Pollution Control Plant. The project incorporated numerous enhancements, including:

• Replacement of existing manual screen with mechanical screen
• Construction of new influent channels c/w gates, covering grates and railings
• Decommissioning of existing coarse bubble aeration system and replacement with new fine bubble aeration system
• Installation of 2 turbo HSI blowers c/w 6 dissolved oxygen analyzers, motorized valves and magnetic flow meters
• Construction of new leachate tank c/w access hatches, two submersible pumps, piping, flow meters, level transmitters, sluice gates, electrical & controls

Project scope also included work on the RAS pump house and filter & UV building, as well as site work including the installation of a new motorized gate and outdoor generator.
