Wanpy Pet Foods Processing Facility – Surrey

Wanpy Pet Foods is China’s largest pet treat manufacturer and has recently expanded into North America. Maple Reinders was approached by Wanpy Pet Foods to lead their tenant fit-out project which involved the complete fit-out of Wanpy’s existing 40,415 SF warehouse in Surrey, BC, as part of the construction of a new pet foods processing facility.

The project includes a mezzanine office space, locker and employee rooms, facilitation and installation of all material handling equipment, ovens/dehydrators, installation of an interceptor and water treatment, a large cooler box, and construction of expanded electrical capacity.

As starting operations immediately was critical for Wanpy, Maple Reinders employed numerous fast-track construction practices, including accelerated decision-making, on-time delivery and highly detailed planning to achieve schedule goals.
