Maple Reinders was selected by Coca-Cola to renovate and modernize its existing facility in Hamilton, Ontario. A key focus of the project was upgrading the aging building envelope while work continued within the active facility.
The project included replacing the existing curtain wall system with new storefront and punch windows and insulated metal panels. Maple also completed exterior brick repairs and repointing, installed new Coca-Cola signage, replaced the roof above the office area and upgraded flooring within the occupied warehouse.
During the tendering process, the scope expanded to include the renovation of approximately 5,000 square feet of office space. Maple transformed the existing offices to create a modern workplace aligned with Coca-Cola’s corporate standards.
The project required careful coordination to manage work within an occupied facility and address unforeseen site conditions, including the discovery of asbestos. Through close collaboration and adaptable planning, Maple successfully delivered the renovations while maintaining a strong working relationship with the client.
