Located in Cambridge, Ontario. Three-storey self-storage facility, 117,000 sf of floor area including retail store, office and lunch room. The project was completed on time in 35 months with an original contract completion date of November 27, 2020, and a final completion date of November 30, 2020. The final value of the project was minimally over budget at $8,910,271, with the original contract value being $8,714,000. Maple Reinders has a great relationship with the client, as this was our 12th completed project with them.
The construction was comprised of structural steel, composite floor deck, insulated metal panel wall cladding, and Ballasted EPDM roofing membrane. The project has 693 interior lockers varying in size from 5′ x 5′, 5′ x 10′, 10′ x 10′ and 10′ x 20’ with a total of 28 – 10’ x 20’ exterior accessed lockers, heated with hot water system, and a three bay Interior loading bay, as well as double stainless steel finished elevators. The property does not have a site access gate, however includes a full security system featuring keypad access and video cameras throughout.
